The Calliope Star Cluster follows a simple calendar used by the gatekeepers and their system. This system follows a simple 365-day cycle much like our OOC calendar but lacking the timscale of named weeks or months¹⁾ for simplicity sake. While the IC year is only one OOC year in length, the reality is that a single IC year will pass every 712 days OOC This ensures a single IC year passes at the rate of two OOC years to account for events, travel, etc. all happening IC but without needing to heavily account for continuity.

This allows more freeform RP and looseness with IC dates and avoids real-life months. Specific RP dates can simply occur on a specific date²⁾

This also allows crossover or joint RP's to occur on specific dates by both setting the same date.

The current year IC is: 3500-GC

The year will advance to 3501-GC on /1/1/23/

This page is responsible for keeping track of historic events such as those that affect the entirety of the Calliope Star Cluster. Events relevant to only one nation or group should be regulated to the calendar page for that IC year.

Example: Giant invasion of a sector-wide enemy? Should be noted here. Nation-X goes to war against a pirate fleet? Should be noted on the page relevant to that year.

Please not it is not required to use the calendar-year pages to outline your nations or plots events. It is simply for those that wish to catalog them for canon purposes and reference or point to them later.
