Entities are organized groups that operate outside of Shards, who wield no Influence¹⁾ or rely on the Influence of others. They could be a sector-wide power, a prominent corporation, or something else entirely.

Entities (as we treat them on the wiki) are not singular characters, no matter how far their powers might extend. Likewise, organizations who operate within a shard are not considered entities.

As entities are not Shards, they do not have a Shard's usual protections - any territories they control must be held by force, diplomacy, or secrecy.

Entities do not have Influence of their own and operate within the rules of the Calliope Sector ²⁾ or within the rules of the Influence they have borrowed.

While Entities aren't Shards, they still follow similar canon rules. So long as they don't impact the broader setting, no staff approval or involvement is typically required.
