Shadow Step is an ability where someone can use shadow magic, or a Isferatos ability to move at a accelerated rate to get from one area to another quickly. This can be useful if someone needs to go to stop a door from closing.

Certain Isferatos and dark magic users can bend light around themselves and in effect turn themselves invisible. Unfortunately, clothing doesn’t turn invisible along with them, which forces them to either go without or find some other way. They can't be seen by anything and they don’t leave a shadow if the area is well lit.

Isferatos are a race of demons so with a physical body like the Sentients have, their strength is greater than a human. They are likely able to knock out a human easily enough, and break the doors down and be a match for heavy gravity worlders. ¹⁾

A Shadowkin might be able to sense the presence of Isferatos (Shadow Demons) as they hunt them, and they may be able to sense others who may be using technology that renders someone invisible.
