Glorinferosa is the nation of the Glorinferosians. Their home world is hot, and they possess some colonies inside of gas giants. It is ruled by an absolute monarch. It's a relatively small nation, it only controls a few systems and they're all close to each other.

Infernia, a hot planet closer to its star than most populated planets, was populated by a number of species that had adapted to its harsh environment. The predecessors to Glorinferosians were the apex predators, and evolved into Glorinferosians as they're known today after humans visited the planet. Infernia was originally fought over by many different Glorinferosian tribes. Over time, these tribes allied and warred, becoming smaller in number and larger in size. Reaching the size of nations, they found themselves at an impasse, making little progress in wars. One nation formed itself into the Kingdom of Glorinferosa, an absolute monarchy. Glorinferosa took over and broke the deadlock, unifying the planet. Now controlling all of Infernia, Glorinferosa effectively ended all large scale wars on the planet. Several gangs developed, not content with being ruled by one nation and one leader. The Kingdom developed technology to explore space, and went on to colonize other planets orbiting the star of Thermius, establishing their control over the star system. The capital and a majority of Glorinferosa's population remained on Infernia. Later, they obtained the systems of Femoria and Venaortio, but they are far away from Thermius and Glorinferosa has yet to establish an effective means of ruling over them. Many Glorinferosians left to explore, spreading throughout the sector and leaving Glorinferosa. The nation's territory being split between the Great Flare and the Mori Expanse resulted in departing Glorinferosians ending up spread considerably far across the sector.

Glorinferosa is populated almost exclusively by Glorinferosians, with some exceptions. This has led to a lack of distinction between the name of the species Glorinferosian and the term for citizens of Glorinferosa. It should be noted that Infernia has a very hot climate along with an abnormal amount of volcanic and geothermal features, but it is still possible for other species to live there. Infernia is where a majority of Glorinferosa's citizens live, but Glorinferosa controls the other planets in the star system and colonies can be found there as well, in addition to Femoria and Venaortio. Most Glorinferosians speak English, but some regions in Glorinferosa speak English differently, often with incorrect sentence structure, grammar, and made up words (Usually, these new words are made up of existing words mashed together, when they didn't know what the original word was). This form of English is often referred to as “Glowyspeak”. Glowyspeak is more common in the Mori Expanse colonies. Religion is varied, but most have a respect for the original human ancestor (or ancestors) who visited Infernia. Some, on the other hand, have a hatred for them, as they believe the traits they introduced made the Glorinferosian species weaker.

Glorinferosa is run by an absolute monarchy, with the throne being passed down to their designated next of kin upon the monarch's death. The current monarch is King Avi. There is some controversy over what will happen at the end of his reign, as he currently has no official designated next of kin. There hasn't yet been a monarch who isn't a member of the Glorinferosian species, and it is likely that a non-Glorinferosian monarch would be met with widespread debate over the validity of their claim to the throne. Smaller governments exist to help run the nation, but the monarch has absolute control over all of them. Such smaller governments exist in Femoria and Venaortio, but they are significantly less effective. This results in these systems being practically lawless at times; despite this, they are still technically considered part of Glorinferosa.

It is believed a human (or humans) visited Infernia in the past, which is how a number of species (including Glorinferosians) acquired human characteristics. This human is often referred to as “The Ancestor”. Though most think it is more likely there were multiple humans on the planet at one point, it is still widely believed that a singular human in particular was responsible for the evolution of these species. Naturally, countless tales have been told in literature about the human ancestor or ancestors. A very large portion of Glorinferosian food incorporates blood in some way if not made primarily of blood due to Gloinferosians' vampiric nature. Glorinferosian art commonly is designed to require their use of flight or wall-climbing to be fully experienced, and most dances involve flight.

Glorinferosa has a highly advanced understanding of fire magic and heating magic, resulting in their warriors being highly skilled at using it and efficient heat-related technology. They have many fire-based weapons for use against alien threats, but they also have cold-based weapons for use against Glorinferosian threats and other heat-resistant species. Glorinferosian warriors also tend to be very fierce and skilled at fighting. However, Glorinferosa is relatively small, only controlling a few star systems. Many Glorinferosians are still accustomed to dominance on their planet from their species being apex predators for as long as they know, and this can lead to them underestimating threats. Non-Glorinferosian-species on a Glorinferosa-controlled planet will be met with several inconveniences, as infrastructure and buildings were designed to be used by Glorinferosians; this means much of it requires flight and wall-climbing to use, and it was designed for smaller people. The colonies of Femoria and Venaortio have a significant weakness in that they are located very far away from the home system, and especially due to the government being an absolute monarchy, they are difficult for Glorinferosa to control.

Glorinferosa is a relatively small nation and is not known for being hostile to other nations. Most large nations would be aware they don't pose much of a threat due to their size. Despite this, they have fierce warriors, advanced fire magic, and their people are practically immune to heat-based weaponry and climates of extreme heat. It would not be advisable to fight them in a hot area where they have the advantage. They are vulnerable to the cold, however, which puts them at a significant disadvantage on cold planets. They pose a much smaller threat in cold climates because they must ensure their warriors are able to survive, and may need to set up additional infrastructure to do so in very cold areas. The Mori Expanse colonies have a greater amount of hostile Glorinferosians due to their governments lacking in effectiveness. This means these colonies may be seen as a greater threat, though they are far less organized. Some believe they can turn people into vampires, which adds to their perceived threat. While Glorinferosians cannot actually do this, those that do believe this rumor may try to avoid them or keep them away.
