Government Confederacy

The UNS are a Confederacy or an alliance of star systems that grouped in a show of partnership, defense, and equal trade. They know that many outside nations might actually be stronger than them, so rather than antagonize them, they chose a path of neutrality and peace. They do not desire to fight against the outside nations, but they do acknowledge that attacks from pirates or another evil organization may happen.

With the agreement that they would share trading for a boost to the economy, they did the same for the military. They gathered and reorganized all of the military organizations in these new systems into the Defense Force and the leaders in the newly formed UNS council agreed to equal funding for the defense force which was gained from their economic trade.

In the name of peace, they will rescue any ships that call for help even if the ship was a pirate ship that was abandoned by its “friends”, they will not, however, take sides when a war happens.

Systems of the United Alliance of Neutral Systems

History

The Nation known as the United Alliance of Neutral Systems began when a species known in the intergalactic language as Near Humans had finally escaped persecution from evil masters, and had left them to die on an exploding world without a means to escape. They eventually settled into a new home, and exploration missions were soon made, which brought the Zuphins attention to the Animalia (Anthros). The Animal Anthros were only beginning their first steps into space flight so these new aliens were much more advanced. Fortunately, they were peaceful and kind. The kindness shown has evolved to an alliance until they ratified a declaration where they joined in a United Alliance of Neutral systems.

The Zuphin and the Animalians created corporations that brought the economy to their nation, and soon others began joining them. They encountered a being named Maylis who seemed to have influence over some of the inhabitants and she opened a club that provided benefits to the nation amid rumors' of the citizens being able to speak to citizens of nations far away.

Zuphin sensors began detecting an energy signature on a system to the east of the Animalian’s Alorosi system. The energy only grew as they previously noticed the voyage of the Therwood clan’s ship which had made its way to the system. With the possibility of work, miners were sent to the system and through the miners, trade were started. The council debated inviting the system to the UNS as the Alorosi had been. The Coven and the Therwoods were an unknown variable, but some seemed capable.

The UNS decided to send a message to the owners of the Station and an agreement was made. While the system would be included, the station is to be considered a free station. Further, rather than dominate, the council has decided to give aid to systems within the UNS. 2) though this came as a result of an attempt at creating a colony on a far-off system which ended up lost.

Later as a result of expanding their military, the UNS was able to contract a Bunny girl clone legion from the Nexus Private Security with an added security contract among other marketing benefits the company provided.

Sachiko Therwood formed Sachitech with her lover Vivi Therwood, which began providing new technology to the UNS and abroad with the logistical aid of her aunt Kuroko and some business pathways of her grandmother Ichika. The resort Viridian Tides soon formed on the world of Aquaris causing Kai Segara and a woman named Vetra to start setting up a transport company to take people down to the planet and to the other places in the system.

The UNS became known via word of mouth from traders and certain Free Captains Guilds, which brought rumors of wealth and prosperity, and pirates seeking to steal this wealth were fought off. Corporations from the other nations soon found their way here, and trade deals and non-aggression pacts were created with the promise of peace. The aid of corporations who had sent word back home about the new nation helped this.

Demographics

The Society within the UNS speaks a language that they call Common, which comes from the Zuphin themselves, who developed it as a way to communicate with each other. When they met the Animalians, they taught it to them, to allow all the species of the Animalians to communicate with them. Once the first contact is made with other nations, there will be instructors ready to interpret and translate to better allow for communication. They are also willing to learn other languages as a sign of respect. Though some Animalians may have their own way of communication that doesn’t use words.

They are educated, though their education system is no better than even the most advanced nation. Typically, the young learn from their parents, before they learn from other people, not from their family. This education has granted them a Health Care System that neither taxes their populations, and is skilled enough to be able to treat and care for patients of many species. Education and learning have helped their Agriculture to not only live off the land, as some Animalians prefer, but to grow them, as the Zuphin do.

A few Zuphin, having been slaves of merchants, are aware the use of money and currency as a result, the society is education in Economics as well. Followed by creation, which has been helped by such people as Therwood Clans own Sachiko, to give a name. The United Alliance of Neutral System’s willingness to allow other individuals and groups peacefully go to their systems may mean that they would gain new knowledge if possible.

Currently, there are pilots educated in flying ships, planes and controlling sea-going vessels.

Religion is controversial in the UNS, as the Zuphin were abused by “gods” and the first Animalians were uplifted by an advanced species. This has left them to become an atheist society. They do understand that some societies that might want to join them, may believe in gods, it is preferred that Religion is discussed away from public ears.

Government and Politics

The Early Years of the UNS was a difficult time, as Animalians typically operates in tribes, or clans of their specific species, The King of the Animalians allowed them this as they didn’t want to force or dominate them in their way and for a time this was peaceful until the encroachment of territory happened and wars were started. It was then that the King created a council, to stop the war, and to allow the citizens to have a say in government.

The Zuphin operated in cells before they reorganized it into a council. This was to move past their rebel states and be an actual government. The meeting between the two species brought forth the decision for a new council government. This was to stop one from gaining power and being corrupted by it.

They arrayed the Council in a circle with scientists of varying degrees, Farmers, law enforcement, and even a representative of the Defense Force, as well as those in the mercantile line of work all in one council. Included on the council were the system’s leaders, that had a say, or at least a representative.

They meet and discuss issues and what needs to be done about those issues. The council will also discuss nations and threats, whether the other nations can be trusted, etc. They also have departments in charge of taking care of things like the economy and the defense force and development as well as civilian needs.

Economy

The Economy is granted to the UNS via the corporations that make a home in their systems. This has resulted from the product they sell to the public, as well as the markets. Each system of the UNS has a vast and potentially untapped resource in the planets and asteroids if there happen to be some, this has allowed each system to have a boon to their economy. With the first contact with other nations such as New Dusk Conclave to name one or the Remnant Conglomerate to name the other, the aid of their corporations such as the Mining Guild has granted the UNS a boon in metal and gems which are worth a great deal to certain organizations.

The growing company SachiTech will also allow for a rise in a technological economy, including a boost to starship building as a result of a national uns_fleet_yards and SachiTech will allow for travel between the systems and beyond.

Culture

The cultural vibrancy within the United Alliance of Neutral Systems is a testament to the rich tapestry of diversity that defines its member systems. As new systems join the Alliance and newcomers find a welcoming home within its borders, the collective cultural landscape continues to evolve and flourish.

Music, with its universal language, serves as a harmonious bridge between disparate cultures, fostering connections and understanding among the Alliance's inhabitants. From the haunting melodies of distant star systems to the pulsating rhythms of cosmopolitan hubs, the Alliance embraces a kaleidoscope of musical styles and traditions. Each new arrival brings with them their own unique musical heritage, enriching the cultural fabric and sparking curiosity and appreciation among fellow citizens.

Literature, too, serves as a conduit for exploration and empathy within the Alliance. Whether it's epic sagas of adventure, poignant tales of love and loss, or thought-provoking works of speculative fiction, the literary landscape of the Alliance reflects the boundless creativity and imagination of its inhabitants.

Food, perhaps more than any other cultural expression, embodies the spirit of hospitality and camaraderie within the Alliance. As culinary traditions from distant corners of the galaxy converge, markets and eateries buzz with the tantalizing aromas of exotic spices and flavors. As systems join the Alliance and newcomers find their place within its embrace, the collective cultural heritage continues to evolve and thrive, enriching the lives of all who call the Alliance home.

Threat

The notion that the United Alliance of Neutral Systems poses a threat is utterly preposterous. Far from being a belligerent force, the Alliance is founded on principles of peace, diplomacy, and collaboration. Unlike some nations or factions driven by conquest or expansionist agendas, the Alliance's sole aspiration is mutual cooperation and shared prosperity among its member states.

At the core of the Alliance's ethos lies a commitment to neutrality, emphasizing non-alignment in conflicts between other powers. Rather than seeking to assert dominance or territorial gains, the Alliance focuses its efforts on fostering diplomatic dialogue, facilitating trade agreements, and promoting cultural exchange among its diverse array of member systems.

Moreover, the very structure of the Alliance is designed to prevent the emergence of aggressive tendencies. Decision-making processes are characterized by inclusivity, transparency, and consensus-building, ensuring that the interests and concerns of all member systems are taken into account. This democratic framework reinforces the Alliance's commitment to peaceful coexistence and collective security.

Furthermore, the Alliance actively engages in initiatives aimed at resolving conflicts and addressing common challenges through diplomatic means. Whether it's mediating disputes, providing humanitarian aid, or collaborating on scientific research, the Alliance consistently demonstrates its dedication to resolving differences peacefully and advancing the well-being of all sentient beings within its sphere of influence.

In essence, to perceive the United Alliance of Neutral Systems as a threat is to misunderstand its fundamental values and objectives. Rather than a source of instability or aggression, the Alliance stands as a beacon of hope for a galaxy where cooperation triumphs over conflict and where diversity is celebrated as a strength rather than a weakness.
