Spirits are the entity that appears when an individual dies. When they have died the spirit types they become dependent entirely on their lifestyle and other factors such as godhood, etc. This page will detail Spirits and how they might be interested or thought of in the universe.

There are 5 special ranks of Spirits and those are

• Lesser Spirits
• Greater Spirits
• Grand Spirits
• Arch spirit
• Divine Spirit.

Lesser spirits are non-sentient spirits that are weak, weaker than even, say imps or other such creatures. Because of this, some magic users prefer not to summon these. Appearance-wise these spirits appear to be tiny floating orbs that float aimlessly. How these orbs look in terms of elemental spirits depends on the spirit themselves. Though useless in battle¹⁾, they can be used in certain spells

Summoning is not preferred overall but they can be used as some kind of source of power to fuel spells.

Greater Spirits are Spirits that are a rank higher than lesser spirits. While Greater spirits are capable of sentience, it might be a rare few as those who have died and become Greater spirits might be lost in some kind of recurring nightmare. As a result, they may not be as aware of people. Another way of Greater Spirits to be born was the result of certain technology such as SachiTech Spirit Fuzor a device capable of magically merging a whole bunch of lesser spirits into one new entity. ²⁾. If an Elemental Spirit, they might be able to do low-level damage against opponents as well as damaging property. Typically, these Spirits come from an average, everyday human who hasn’t meditated or done any kind of magical training or anything that might strengthen their spirit.

Greater spirits can be summoned, and depending on if they were an elemental spirit, they could also be bound to something like a vessel or weapon. ³⁾

Grand Spirits come from those who had their training in magic, meditation, and or other training to strengthen their spirits. This has elevated their rank in death to a Grand Spirit. Much like the Greater Spirits, They are sentient, much more so than Greater spirits, and they aren't trapped and are aware of their environment. If an Elemental Spirit, they might be able to do moderate-level damage against opponents as well as damaging property.

Arch Spirits come from the masters, those who have devoted their lives to training in meditation, or magic, or some other skill that enhances their spirit to new heights. These aren't foes to be used lightly and nor should be fought recklessly as they are capable of causing true damage. Magic users can't hope to use them in magic because the Arch spirit will reject them.

Divine spirits came from the Gods and Goddesses themselves who have been the gods and goddesses or even demi-gods. Powerful half-human, half-god progeny who have some divine blood in their bodies. Second, only to the gods and goddesses themselves, they rule over Spirits. Magic-users shouldn’t try to use them in their magic for fear of a curse being placed on them.

Other than through technology in which a whole bunch of lesser spirits get merged and become Greater spirits, the only way for a spirit to come into existence is to die as a living being.

Where they go next depends on the Spirit, if they were a generally good person who cared about others, they might go up to the Overworld with the gods and goddesses. Or they could get reincarnated and live a life among the living again. They may also be trapped as a ghost due to some unfinished business. If they were evil, or let dark impulses guide them, they will likely go to the Underworld, with the demons and become corrupted.

Isferatos (Shadow Demons) are non-corporeal beings who might be considered spirits, but they aren't as they are evil malevolent demons. youkai are also technically spirits by in Project Multiverse, they are able to interact and breed as well a give birth to hybrid species.

Spirits can live for a very long time as they are now dead beings. Provided magic or weapons capable of killing spirits are used they have no concerns over being destroyed.

They generally lived in the homes they lived in, in life unless they are allowed to go to the Under or Overworld. if they are allowed to move on then they will live there.
