The Yolus Nebula is a massive cloud of interstellar gasses and dust clumped together by the force of an ancient explosion and exodus. It is composed of 78.09% nitrogen, 20.95% oxygen, 0.93% argon, 0.04% carbon dioxide in addition to traces of hydrogen, helium, sodium, potassium, calcium, and magnesium. As well as captured water vapor and methane. These other gasses cause starship shields to change in a variety of colors. It is about 1500 light-years from Secunda Major System as such, it is visible from the skies above the planets in the system and the Capital City’s skyline.

It was named by a winner in a naming competition.
