Magical power sources

The Cores are a Magic-Technology merged with hybrid-based Technology that is used to power certain things. Such as

• Weapons
• Ships
• Synthetics¹⁾

These cores are created by a combined team of Alchemists, Artificers, and Engineers. However, because of how they are made, the magic can cause additional effects on the items or individuals

• Planet Spirit Core
• Demon Core
• Angel Core

Made using the essence of a Dragons heart, taking an old, dead Dragon. This dragon would possibly be one that hadn’t survived the travel from their original home. Currently there are no Dragons in the United Alliance of Neutral Systems and the ones in the New Dusk Conclave live mainly on Planet Prazoa and are in their 50s.

The Weapon with a Dragon Heart Core, is one of the most powerful weapons, which shoots a vibrant beam of energy. It tends to work well with a master that controls their aiming, as it can be a bit temperamental, if the user isn’t careful. Weapons with this Core attached, ill not worry about friend or foe, and would not show care when civilians are in the area.

Starships with a Dragon Heart Core, will need a large Core to power it, but like the Weapons and the Synthetic, the starship will be temperamental and will use its weapons to attack, even if a civilian ship was in the way. It will also likely kill the crew should they try to prevent their attack.

Synthetics, with a Dragon Heart Core, tend to be those warriors, who may be Mercenaries. Only a strong and intelligent leader will be able to keep the Synthetic in check as the core will cause the Positronic Brain to think less of them, and to make them defect if the leader is cowardly or dimwitted. It will have no qualms of killing anything in its path.

The Phoenix core was created using the essence of a Phoenix, and like the legendary Bird, the effect of a Phoenix core, has a drastically different effect to the items and individual with this core inside them.

The Weapon with a Phoenix core added, changes it, into a tool rather than a weapon, the energy shot out of the “Tool” instead heals the injured individual, which also includes the effect of resurrecting a person, from death³⁾. This item is perfect for medical staff, desiring to take care of patients.

Any Starship with a Phoenix core will be able to repair itself and go right back into battle and to stop this from happening, the ship must be completely destroyed.

Synthetics with a Phoenix core tend not to die, indeed, shoot a head, and the Synthetic will get back up with the head reattaching itself. It was a effect that can be nightmareish. The only way to stop the resurrection is by managing to destroy or damaging the core.

Primarily only in Planet Prazoa, but planets created using the Planet creation guide will have supernatural life, in land and the sea, in this case a Sea Spirit, kind of like a Naiad, that watches over the sea. A piece of its essence can be taken to create the core.⁴⁾

A Synthetic with a Sea Spirit Core will find that it’s home was in the water, that the oceans and certain fresh water sources will protect it, as if it belonged there, and was a part of it, furthermore it will never rust no matter what material is used to create its body. It will also be able to communicate with sea creatures.

Primarily only in Planet Prazoa, but planets created using the Planet creation guide will have supernatural life, in land and the sea, in this case, a planetary spirit, kind of like a Spriggan watching over the land. A piece of its essence can be taken to create the core.⁵⁾

Synthetics with a Planet Spirit Core like the Sea Spirit counterparts, will find that its home was in nature, the woods, forests and jungles of any given planet that has them, will protect it, as if it belonged there, and was a part of it. It will be able to communicate with creatures, and even those of fierce predators will not attack it⁶⁾. The Synthetic will likely find jobs as Park Rangers, game wardens, and Fire Watch personnel, to be close to nature.

A Demon Core, a Core created from essence of demons, it is not recommended that one tries this.

Like the Dragon Heart Core Weapon, the Weapon with this core installed, will turn dark black, and the ammo will gain the ability to completely kill a person including their soul. Further it will try to corrupt the user of this weapon, turn them evil, to use the weapon more.

The ship is dark black, with dark smoke in the exterior and interior. Those with alignments other than evil, pure evil, or evil leaning neutrals will find themselves very uncomfortable. The ship will try to effect passenger and crew psyche, make them see hallucinations, as it tries to turn them evil, like the weapon would.

Synthetics with a Demon Core are plainly corrupted by their cores, Even though the Synthetics will know what they are doing is wrong, the Positronic brain won't stop themselves from continuing.

Created using captured holy magic which eventually hardened to a halo, the cores with this type of energy, are the polar opposite of the Demon core.

The weapons are very effective against demons, or evil aligned beings. But should the user try to kill a civilian or innocent, the weapon will stop working and reject them.

The ship will likely have an interior environment that’s beautiful and brightly lit, with a cleanliness to rival even the most hardened germaphobe. The exterior is also likely clean and undamaged, but should a demon or evil aligned individual enter the ship they will be uncomfortable, with the demons soon dieing out.

Synthetics are pure of heart, who would never dream of hurting another unless they were demons, yes the ancient hatred between the Angels and Demons are strong with these Synthetics, but they will take jobs in the medical field to help the sick ad injured.
