The Chariot class of ship designed and manufactured by the Remnant Conglomerate and fielded by the Babel Armed Military Force - 'BAMF' is a moderately sized assault ship designed to transport an entire marine division in cryogenic storage into hostile territory for deployment and invasion. This is accomplished by replacing crew quarters and non-essential areas into cryogenic storage and equipment storage for the division.

Interior
Almost 75% of the interior of the ship is filled with cryogenic storage and equipment storage for the deploying marine division. Rows upon rows of cryogenic storage pods are basted on the inside of the ship's catamaran at the front of the vessel with them even lining the walls with catwalks for optimum storage.
There is also long rows of bays for vehicles, stored equipment, weapons, ammo magazines, etc. Everything required to equip and deploy thousands of marines mere hours after being unfrozen.
The rest of the ship is mostly segregated from the marine spaces but opens up for even more support with massive galleys, kitchens, a sizeable medbay to support wounded marines, crew cabins for the crew, a floating bridge, engineering spaces, etc.
Vehicles
The Chariot class assault ship is designed to land on a planet's surface and deploy its marines. This includes vehicles such as Mechs, Vehicles, and such. To accomplish this the pontoon-like storage at the front of the ship opens up to allow vehicles and mechs to simply drive or walk out.
Each Chariot can carry the following.
- Eight mechs of medium class or smaller, including 10-20 scout mechs.
- Or Two mechs of heavy class or smaller, and four mechs of medium class or smaller, including 10-20 scout mechs.
- 10 tanks of various sizes

Drop Capabilities
The chariot assault ship has up to 1,000 drop pods capable of deploying and entire battalions worth of BAMF Offensive Shock Troopers 'OST' marines from low orbit. These pods are reuseable though reloading them with new drop pods is a timely process and is best used in tandem with other drop-capable ships.
These pods can also be loaded with BAMF Resuply Pods to deploy supplies planetside in the same manner.
Weapons
The Chariot is not designed to be a frontline ship and is often dependent on escourts for its protection. It does carry several point-defence cannons for fighter, missile, and anti-boarding capabilities.

This ship is designed to be a background element existing for RP, and not as an intended plotship or to be overly complex. It is the equivilent of an LHD in space but bigger.
