Tomoe/Komoe Therewood are two characters played by char. They are two Dvati-humans; A combination of two bodies linked together with just a single soul.

Tomoe and Komoe's history is shrouded in such a web of lies, falsehoods, uncertainties, and tales all spun by the pair that it's surmised not even they know their origins.

What is known as fact, however, is that the two were not born, but all genetic history leads one to believe that the two were in fact artificially created by a means or source unknown and subsequently after were sold to at a startlingly young age at a pirate-slavers auction as a rarity and a commodity; A being of two bodies but of one shared soul, a 'Dvati'.

The two served a tenure as the private and personal slaves to a free-captain for most of their pre-teen and teenage years where they were learned in the ways of their captains professions; Mainly the capturing, breaking, submission, and sale of unique slaves of usually magical origins for sale to high-price bidders and clients in need of unique warslaves, bodyguards, or pleasure stock for their harems.

This went on for a number of years and the two acted as not only this but also as the pilot and gunners for the free-captains ship until they found themselves caught up against and then with the Therewood clan, who, after some of the clan killing their captain and master used Tomoe and Komoe to escape and have been their uneasy patrons ever since.

Tomoe and Komoe share through an odd and almost impossible coincidence of the genetic lottery beyond normal twins to have the exact same body, face, and features to an almost frightening degree of accuracy despite their difference in genders.

Together they share the same dusky-brown skin and pale ash-gray hair color, Sharp elfen facial features that lean towards the feminine side with cut cheeks, freckles, and short rounded ears.

Their bodies share an identical height at 5'2” and are rather androgynous and devoid of noticeable gender with flat-chests, unimpressive hips, and lean frames with soft and smooth skin that is devoid of most callouses and both a lack of muscle and fat leaving them surprisingly average in regards to their fitness.

The only differences between the two are that one was biologically born male while the other was female along with minor almost unnoticeable details such as an Adams-apple or a different arrangement of freckles between the two.

Tomoe and Komoe are an odd pair. Through a shared series of misfortunes in their lives, they have adopted a split-personality between each other that one or the other will often take on at random as they change their entire demeanor, personality, etc. down to an exact science that its nearly impossible for it to be a natural occurance.

One is simply always the mischievous and troublesome Tomoe; A short-tempered and foul-mouthed deviant or a 'girl' incapable of staying out of trouble. Who is also flirty and adventurous and quick to spring into action without a moment's notice. Tomoe also shows to be easily frightened, surprised, and distracted and prefers general action over plans and procedures.

The other is the silent and aloof Komoe. A quiet and dreary soul of a 'boy' who acts the polar opposite from Tomoe in regards to being much more well-spoken and articulate while showing increased mental aegis and intelligence. If tomoe is the loud riot; Komoe is silent and intense, often preferring short and to-the-point sentences and avoiding confrontation in favor of pre-meditated action.

These would not be overly uncommon characteristics to be found in any individual. But what sets the two apart is that through routine or a game or just simple habit the two seem to swap personalities to where one day the individual who was once Tomoe is now Komoe and vice versa to a perfect extent of authenticity where including their identical appearances it is nearly impossible to differentiate yesterdays Tomoe with today. Each individual perfectly mimics the role to a psycho-sematic degree and will never break this character until some trigger unknown to any but them has been set. The only way to differentiate them other than via stripping them (which only the Tomoe analog would permit) is through prior injuries such as a scratch being on Tomoe one day that seems to be on Komoe the other. The two do not seem to be willing or do not see a need to self-harm for the sake of their mental method acting but other, less violent actions they are willing to take such as both wearing a sling if injured, sharing cosmetic discrepancies such as torn clothing or odds and ends.

Regardless of torture or duress and through extreme psycho-somatic tendencies neither one will ever admit to being any other individual than who they currently are and it's speculated that the change between them has gone on so long it's doubtful either can remember or even cares to.

The two of them are also extremely co-dependent on one another and if separated will often act dramatically brash and confrontational and will eventually show unconsolable and erratic and unconsolable behavior to the point of risking self-harm to reach each other if they are separated for an extended period of time with no known date of the reunion. When reunited they are often overly clingy and affectionate towards one another. For unknown reasons likely linked to their nature as Dvati it is speculated that physically seperating the two causes actual mental trauma to the two and can even violently harm them on a level reaching down to their very souls.

While neither of them has yet died it is quite possible the other will seek a means to follow suit if their partner parishes and the resulting severance of their link doesn't kill the survivor.

Tomoe and Komoe as extremely magiphobic due to their time as mage-breakers and have an adverse and even hostile reaction towards blatant magic use. They do not 'fear' magic so much as are distrustful and even antagonistic towards its use and users.

Tomoe and Komoe have a diverse set of skills. Both are skilled in starship operations such as piloting, gunnery, and even basic engineering and maintenance.

They are also skilled in a lot of amenities such as cleaning, cooking, caretaking, etc.

They have basic combat experience and work in tandem fluidly in combat. This is specialized in countering and combatting foes of magical inclinations in both lethal and non-lethal methods.
