Kana Ivanoff

The prodigal daughter of Henry Ivanoff, Half elf Kana is a girl trying to survive in a world full of people willing to target her for her heritage.

Kana was born 18 years ago as a loud screaming baby upset at the world. This was, of course, because of the suddenness in which she was brought into the world though. She would get to see the doctor who got her out of her mother’s womb, then her father’s face before finally her mother as she was passed to her. Her toddler years were spent doing Toddler related activities before she was old enough to attend the colony’s first preschool. In preschool, she learned things a toddler should know, and she’d made friends there.

Her elementary school years, followed her preschool years uneventfully, other than some camping trips with her dad, who began teaching her camping skills, as well as some self-defense skills which came in handy when some kids tried to bully her. Her high school years were slightly modified, with camping and survival training by her dad and more about the training. Soon she graduated with a 5.0 GPA, enabling her to go to a college of her choice.

On the trip to the college, things went to Fubar on the planet as the government failed, and there were riots and things. She got separated from her dad, and her mother died after being killed by an infected person, forcing his half-elf alone. There were too many rioters forcing her to hurry away, and she didn’t know if her dad survived, but she was confident he had. Her dad was strong and brave. He wouldn’t get killed by these rioters.

Since then, she’d have to face off against infected people and bandits trying to take from her that she wouldn’t like them to take. She’d have to break into abandoned homes where she met Kenny, who would join her. Together they'd find Douglas, and was soon reunited with her father, in a heartfelt reunion.

Kana has short-length black ³⁾ hair. The right side is long enough to cover her right eyebrow a little while the left eyebrows are uncovered. The eyebrows themselves are black and they rest over her silver eyes. The hair is tucked behind her ears, allowing her Elven heritage to show. She had a diamond-shaped head with her chin being rounder. She tends to wear clothes appropriate for surviving outdoors.

Kana had two influences during her formative years from both her mother and father. Her father was probably the biggest influence of the two and it wasn’t a surprise that she was a daddy’s girl. Through her father’s influence, she learned how to survive when she needed to. This has greatly aided her when the apocalypse happened and it was what allowed her to keep her mind, and not get overcome by bandits, or infected people.

Kana has facial memory, this allows her to never forget a face no matter how long it has been. This means she might remember someone she might have met as a toddler. She’ll also recognize someone even if their face has changed, whether through injury or time. The influences in her life and the apocalypse had made her a hard worker who tends to not be lazy unless sleep is needed, or laziness is expected in certain environments.

When interacting with others she’s polite and depending on who they are, whether a member of the family or strangers, will affect how she’ll act towards them. She is social, at least she can be, but there are times when she’s silent, it was partly because it doesn’t occur to her she should speak, but also because she’s careful in what she says. Animals and children are treated kindly, almost like she was a big sister type of girl.
