Thorrfen was born the son of Talia and Thorkell Vilkas, a young noble house in Ravendal known for it's unorthodoxy. While they served the people steadfastly, their breach of tradition brought them little help when they were attacked by another rival house in the dead of night, an attack in response to Thorrfen killing their youngest member for assaulting a child.

This attack was what revealed Thorrfen's Therion nature, as in desperation bit one of the attackers and awakened his mutation. The awakened beast slew all who stood in his way and ran off into the night. Thorrfen later was found by his Grandfather Bjorn, his only living relative.

They spent the next couple of days on the run. Until tragedy struck again and Bjorn was slain by a Vaesen. This death drew Thorrfen into a blood rage, turning into a Therion once again and tearing the beast apart. His only relative now gone, Thorrfen entered into the Direth Mountains, seeking the death of every Vaesen that lives there… or his own.

A slim yet muscular man, standing at 183 cm and weighing 77 kg, his hair is brown, whilst his body is covered in recent scars. His eyes are bright green.

As a Therion, Thorrfen's shift form is a that of a brown furred 9 feet tall bipedal monster.

Thorrfen is a seemingly nonchalant, indifferent, and lazy character with a penchant for dry wit and slight awkwardness. A voracious devourer of knowledge and food, he can never say no to a good book or a hot meal. Armed with a vicious temper and intense dislike of injustice, he's also prone to pick a fight, no matter the odds.

Despite his self-imposed exile, he's an extroverted who enjoys the company of others and his prone to long fits of brooding and melancholy when left alone.​
