Strazce

1) Strážce are the diligent cleaners of a given location within the New Dusk Conclave and or rather places controlled by the Mining Guild. They appear to be a Biomechanical creature that’s a cross between a pachyderm and an insect.

Creation

The Strazce were created because the Capital of Secunda Major System as well as the cities of Prazoa, and the other settlements in the New Dusk Conclave were getting dirty. Unfortunately, there were a lack of volunteers to do the work of cleaning up though there were citizens willing to throw away their trash, but the environment was still dirty and the Eco-centric civilians were getting bothered so a new Biomechanical creature was made something non sentient so that ere wouldn’t be issues.

City and Garbage Cleanup Crews

The Strazce joined the City cleaning crews, making sure that the plants in the cities were cleaned and watered, while trash was picked up after the lazy civilians who were admonished. They operated hovering trucks that picked up the garbage cans and dumped them into the truck. They are then taken to a pit where they are dumped until processing. Things like graffiti were cleaned off the walls, from the buildings, including the tram stations making everything nice. They can clean anything, even things stuck.

Crime Scene Cleanup Crews

It's an unfortunate fact that crime happens and after the investigators investigate the crime scene, the Strazci come in to clean up the scene and making the environment crime-free in terms of appearance. They can clean anything, even things stuck.

Janitorial Staff

The Strazce joined the building's Janitorial staff, from Schools to hotels, Hospitals, even corporate buildings. They do the job of janitors and clean up using technology, or otherwise to keep places clean.

Physiology

Body Info

The Strážce head is diamond-shaped with “eyes” located on stalks allowing the creature to perceive its environment in a 360 diagonal degree. It has hair covering its head, with multiple Antennae and a muzzle around the face, causing the head to look longer at the front.

Body

The Strazce had a bulky sort of body, nothing that would be described as really obese. Its height and width were set so that it can fit through doors and not be in the way of people as it worked. But within the frame was a strong body with the capability of pushing people away if it needed to.

Its body is covered by Iron Leather which hides a metal structure holding up semi-organic and technological organs providing service to it, and the environment. It stood on four legs, and it used four arms, ending in grasping hands the top two were attached to shoulders while the bottom was slightly underneath the first. There was an “Abdomen” attached to its back, much like most insects.

Legs and Feet

They had four legs, each leg, ends with feet about the size of 10.5. (Average human feet) They had round legs with musculature capable of allowing them to pull heavy loads. They were similar to those of a pachyderm, but none of the same coloring, or appearance.

Additional Cleaning Technology

At the bottom of the feet where the “sole” was, was an opening, with technology that allows for the cleanup of spilled liquid. Using an anti-gravity device, the liquid is “slurped” up into the leg. It is then encased in a hermetically sealed capsule. This is stored in the Abdomen, for later retrieval. But if the liquid was blood, like from a crime scene, and the machines, detect that then that too is sealed, but moved to a part of the abdomen where the blood will never dry out allowing it to be used for cloning. Things like mops and Squeegees can be brought up and used for efficient cleaning from not only the feet but the abdomen and hands too. The technology can be used to clean an environment so cleanly that no germs or bacteria will be left once finished, which is perfect for hospitals. Hospitals are an environment where cleanliness is a must, but they don’t stop there.

Abdomen

The Abdomen is a storage area, wherein insects house the heart and things like that. On a Strážce it is where the liquid, blood, and other items are stored. Oxygen passes through here on its way out, but other gasses are contained in hermetically sealed capsules for transport.

Biological Variation

Strazce are very uniform and standard in terms of appearance, but there were some minor changes to their appearance, for example, those working in dark places, tend to be covered in a bioluminescent paint that allows them to be seen. Those working in corporate buildings might wear a uniform outfit with the company logo and advertisement as they work.

Those working in the city will wear a uniform that allows them to be seen by motorists and pilots. of course some teenage hoodlums might put graffiti on the strazce knowing that they won't just return to base to be cleaned up.

Environment and numbers

They can operate in any environment so long as they aren’t being shot at by power armor, weapons, or having acids or electricity attacking them. Due to Variations, those in dark areas tend to glow as to be visible. In terms of numbers, they are a lot more common in Secunda Major and can be seen in the system capital as well as Prazoa’s cities and towns.

Sensors

Vision The Strazce are capable of seeing their environment in a 360 degree direction. It allows them to see in front of them, and behind them. Though they aren’t military, they are also able to see in Ultraviolet, light, allowing them to see how hot something was.

Weather detection The Strážce have sensors within the antennae and the fur around the muzzle and face, which allows for the minute changes to the weather on a planet’s environment where technology transmits this to the AI supervisor, which sends the information to the nation’s weather network. The biomechanical’s systems don’t allow it to concern itself over its comfort since anything other than a thunderstorm, acid storms, or firestorms will not harm it.

Toxic environment The Strazce sensors allow the biomechanical the ability to detect if there is something toxic in the air that it needed to alert those vulnerable around it.

Diet

The Strazce are Gasvores and are able to be in an environment containing gases. Though they don’t actually eat the gas persay. Much like Mining Guild’s life support system, the Strazce has a six chambered “stomach” which the gas pass into. The heat generated from the battery is transported here, and used to separate the gas atoms to their “molecular parents” once the system detects this, a wall comes down locking the oxygen from the other gasses and is sent out of the body to the environment. The other gasses are contained and are transported to the abdomen where it will be removed by specialists. They don’t actually need to eat to live, since they have a plasma power cell to keep them alive.

Life Cycle

The Strazce can live up to at least a hundred years provided that they have a maintenance cycle. Without a cycle the duration will likely depend on the power cell.

Interactions with others

The Strazce don’t have a culture of their own since they aren’t technically sentient, but they can speak. When they see someone littering, they are programmed to admonish them, and demand they show some respect to the land. They also admonish anyone in their way, while potentially pushing them aside so they can work. But if someone places their garbage in the proper place, or they move aside immediately before they can be admonished then they will be commended. All attempts to damage the buildings or using graffiti will be reported electronically, as would any attempts at damaging it. This included sending the image of the perpetrator that did the deed. They generally speak the language common to the nation, but they can understand all kinds of languages.
