+Originally [[Vaigarin]], when a handful of eggs got lost and pulled through a portal, the hatchlings arrive on Ereshkigal. These would become the first Endragons, changing vastly to adapt to Ereshkigals environment and losing their knowledge of shapeshifting, created an entire separate subspecies, viewed more as a distant cousin of the Vaigarin; than a Vaigarin at all.

Once the eggs are laid & incubated the parents separate and leave the hatchlings to fend for themselves. They receive no parental care and being unable to fly upon hatching often will eat their siblings leaving only 1 or 2 from each clutch to survive.
