They are a private enterprise founded by the multibillionaire ex-mercenary Craig Mulder, with its main headquarters placed on a rogue planet in the outer rim, called Prometheus.  The main focus of the enterprise is archeological excavations, research of ancient civilizations, and selling of artifacts to the galactic market.

They prioritize secrecy in most aspects of a mission, from extraction; to analysis and lastly; research. The planets where the enterprise operates are usually in deep space, where many nations have not yet charted.
