Oberon

The Oberon is a mechanized unit from a rebellious past. It was used by the Zuphin Resistance fighting the dark masters. While Project Exodus did make it so that none of the mecha came with the refugees, there were people among them that could rebuild the units if they wanted to. After settling down, the Mecha was rebuilt and began being used as part of the Neutral Systems Defense. Later on, other corporations in the United Alliance of Neutral Systems would be contacted to further facilitate cooperation and improvements needed for ships and technology considering how old the mecha units were some upgrades may be needed.

Appearance

Original Appearance

The monstrosity was a 10-foot tall mech. Its original appearance was made with scrap parts and as such, it didn’t look threatening. It had a Cornstalk shaped body with the legs and hands attached on halfway from the bottom and the top part of it. The top part was a circular flat top, where the “driver” sits. It appeared to have a skull face attached, for the intimidation factor. The Arms ended in 60 inches in length guns. At the back were two additional cannons that could be deployed over the shoulders. The legs were blocky and ended in a foot that appeared to have two toes on the front and one long heel at the back for stability.

New Appearance

The new Mecha that was built by the UNS is much better than the rebellion version this was because they no longer needed to use scrap to make it. It now had a blocky body, with a modified cockpit that no longer sported a skull face at the front.

Guard Mode

When Guard Mode has activated the mech kneels, and the shoulder cannons are deployed, and with the arm guns, they do massive damage towards opponents, potentially destroying them.

Interior

The Interior is a smaller area composed of exclusively the area where the driver sits. The other parts can be opened for maintenance.

Cockpit

The Cockpit is a small area, with room only or a person to sit in. It’s a ramped area, which means that any other person inside must be digitized as in they were AI. If the driver seat was removed, they could fit a large AI processors inside this place making the mech a AI unit.

Interior Caseing

Within this area was the battery where the power comes from, and the massive cartridge for the ammunition. Someone small like a Fairy could fit inside if they had to.

History

In an unknown world, the Zuphin rebellion was always into finding ways to fight back against the Dark Masters. They wanted to do something to complete Project Exodus. Unfortunately, due to genetic manipulations and injuries, many Zuphin came paralyzed forcing them to think of outside-the-box things until finally the mecha was born. Now their comrades could fight if they wanted to and the mech units took back Zuphin prisoners took control of key facilities. This allowed the Rebels the tech they would need and as the others prepared, some chose to sacrifice themselves to finally stop the dark masters, and the mech was used to do it.

Development

Originally scrap parts, and parts from other machines went into building the first match, but with the successful exodus, they can use factories and new advanced technology.

Countless battles against the Dark Masters, and many more for Planetary Defense.

Shields

The Mech is capable of defending itself from magic attach as well as most energy and ballistic based weaponry.

The Mech supports the wearer by using a The Psyche class Positronic Brain. Thanks to Burial materials added to the Positronic brain, the wearer via the Positronic brain might be able to gain new visual abilities.

Weakness Detection

Thanks to Burial Steel, the user of the Mech might be aware of weaknesses in the enemy pirate, or invading force. This allows for greater efficiency in combating and protection of location.

Life Support Systems

The New Version of the Mech uses biotechnological components allowing for the elimination of carbon gases, allowing for the user to breathe clean air while fighting.

Generator

The Mech’s upgraded Power Generator uses a compact, efficient power_gen for all its needs.

Engines

The Mech uses a efficient engine technology that allows it to fight for long periods

Thrusters

While it can’t fly, the Thrusters allows for the slow descent to a lower area without the worry of fall damage.

Weapons

The Mech uses multiple weapons to fight against opponents.

Arm mounted Guns

Attached to the arms of the mech are two guns, each with 60 inches in the barrel itself, giving off the appearance that the arms are long. The guns themselves are automatic and they shoot energy based blasts at a extremely rapid procession.

Shoulder Mounted Guns

In addition to the arm mounted weapons were an additional pair of cannons, which appear when the mech is in guard mode. Unlike the arm guns, these guns are semi-automatic but they are no less powerful, capable of expelling large bullets capable of causing more damage.

Additional Weapons

The Mech has additional weapons that can be used in addition to the guns and these are. 1. EMP bombs, 2. throwing explosive canisters, 3. grenades“

Security Systems

The Mech is protected against cyberattacks via a magical field around the positions brain that shields it from such attacks.
