The 2nd sphere of the Corporeal Rift, and the most empty. Gravity is nonexistent, and any living thing miraculously seems to not require food, water, or air. Locomotion can be achieved by perceiving oneself to be moving, causing you to move in that direction.
There is no light and little matter. The Nowtsphere is above all else, an endless abyss. It is often used as a prison, secluded retreat, or a lair for ancient evils to scheme in silence. In each case, consideration should be had that The Nowtsphere is not inherently isolating. Many creatures make this sphere their home and may be encountered, though they are often all far too alien to call neighbors.
The population of the Nowtsphere significantly consists of eldritch abominations and aberrations that are either apathetic towards beings they view as lesser, or wish to be left alone.

Some “Undefined” beings take up peculiar interests, such as smoking deadly vapours and watching mortals drink tea.
The Corporeal Rift often becomes the home of beings beyond mortal understanding, despite them not always being conceived there. Many of these beings gravitate towards the Nowtsphere. Some are capable of limitless shapeshifting, others are bound to forms of massive; writhing clusters of tentacles and mouths, while some take much more abstract forms. Some are not suited, while others are peculiar enough to have multiple suits. The few uniting attributes between these creatures are that they:
‘The Metanomicon’ deliberately skirts any classification of these entities, instead opting to give guidelines for when not to attempt to classify something or even attempt to understand it. The principle behind this is that since The Metanomicon was written primarily for the use of outsiders, any documents inside it should be written within that same existential scope. Articles documenting undefined entities often describe the behavior of them and avoid describing their psychology.
For “Undefined” characters to stay as intended, it is important that their behavior and other characteristics be frequently unexplained. To understand this, think of how a cat understands a human. A cat knows what a human looks like and how it tends to behave. The cat might know that the human might let it out if it meows at a door. Despite this, they do not understand the abstract concepts the human deals with on a daily basis. Other characters are the cat, and the Undefined is the human. If too much about one of these characters is understood, then they become explainable, and therefore, understandable to humans. This should be avoided.
