The 3rd sphere of the Corporeal Rift, the Insipidsphere is a sprawling, high-class 19th century hotel with a layout that does not make intuitive sense, and staircases and elevators that lead between floors. The temperature, gravity and atmosphere of this sphere is livable to whichever creature roams it.
This sphere can be non-euclidean, as doors will on occasion lead to locations anywhere from kilometers away from each other to just down the hall. Every window leads to a bottomless void with a sky of dark gray visual snow. This is the case even when there is a room that should be occupying the space where the window leads.
The Insipidsphere does not have any terrain, instead being made entirely of man-made walls, floors and ceilings. Falling out of a window or breaking a wall, regardless of the layout of adjacent rooms, always leads to an abyss of television-like static. Descending into this abyss for several hours inexplicably leads to the Nowtsphere.
The Insipidsphere is for the most part barren of life. It is empty and lonely, with the rare “guest” appearing to be an inanimate object such as a life-sized doll or a music box resting on a bed which anomalously never stops playing. Despite this, there are some legitimate lifeforms.
