The Bibliotheca Aenarium is the largest and most signficant institution of magical study in all of Aenar space.
Built millenia ago by the first green robed men and women of Yst, in the small settlement of the coast of the mainland. It had begun as a small gathering of sages, priests and cunning folk, sheltered by a nearby cliff line. Soon, more and more seeking knowledge traveled there and a great library was erected by the finest earth magic. But mages were prideful and as their numbers grew so did their pride. Higher and higher they built their towers and deeper and deeper until they found it.
It is said the spirit of the first Grand Master, Ayindri'Yst still resides in the fortress-library, serving all of Aenar even now.

The Bibliotheca Aenarium's small beginnings are almost impossible to tell, for every turn of the sun, the towering spires seem a bit taller, the lights a bit brighter, the walls firmer. Built unto a place of power, the Biblioteca is a enchanted structure bar none on the planet. Hundreds of centuries of ritual work have gone into the building.
