Hera 450 is one of the leaders of the Chorus of the Dying God, a sector-spanning eldritch-religious cult. She has immense, reality bending powers, but mostly prefers to manipulate and guide others to achieve her ends.
Hera has been through countless eras in the Calliope Sector, seeing empires rise and fall one after the other. Many have been brought under her sway and fed the ambitions of her eldritch god. The last era saw a civilization open a portal to the realm where her “god”, and others like it, resided, which resulted in the destruction of most civilizations across the sector - and the death of the god she worshipped.
In the current era, she once again bides her time and seeks to influence things when the chance arises.
Hera has an ethereal sort of beauty, often appearing in a priestess' vestments with a golden halo of metal behind her head. A faint, beautiful melody can just barely be heard whenever she is nearby.
Her appearance is somewhat malleable and she will appear with small variations when interacting with various species, though her core qualities are always the same.
Despite being one, if not the, most powerful individual in the sector, Hera rarely shows her colors. She can usually be described as “motherly” or loving - she truly wishes to guide everyone she meets to the eternal afterlife promised by her God. Little else matters to her and she views every missed soul as a sad event.
If she didn't have forever to keep trying again and again, it might bother her.
Song of Creation - Like many in the Chorus' upper ranks, Hera can “hear” the sounds of the universe, which she interprets as an incredibly complex, impossibly layered song. All things, all possibilities, all rules of reality are contained within the song she listens to. Into this song she sings new verse or subtle changes to the pattern, bending the universe to do as she wishes. There is only one thing the Song cannot do, and for her it is the most important thing of all - guide others, who she calls Fragments of the Dying Light, to her God.
