It is a natural occurrence for most Geomancers that when attuned to their element their skin seems naturally thicker to the touch while not hindering their movement in any way. This is an effect of their element that naturally strengthens the bodies skin with earth-attuned magic that while negligible in its actual protection is a precursor for further enhancement later.
