===== History =====
Maeve... Just Maeve, had grown up without parents herself. She wasn't sure what her parents did herself, but liked to think they were something special. Particularly, as she grew up, she was often rather overlooked. Nearly as long as she could remember, people seldom payed her any mind unless she did something to deserve the attention.

She started with what one might charitably call fanciful stories told to her peers. Typically about what her parents presumably did- although the story changed each time. While the sheer confidence with which she could tell these bold faced lies enraptured some, if it got any attention it was typically a scolding, or her peers calling her out.

She moved past that rather fast fortunately, but immediately moved on to being a trouble maker in a totally different way, after running off and sulking after her latest failure in story telling. The matron had rounded up the children for a search party. This was a mistake, as Maeve immediately took to this like a fish to water- often hiding in ever more fanciful places- from cupboards and laundry baskets, to trees, to the ramparts supporting the roof. Or the neighbor's roof.

Eventually, it had become a game for her to successfully reach bewildering spots in record time- just as it became a game to escape the matron's ever more watchful eye. Naturally this too, had eventually worn off. While often the other children found it fun to look for her- the matron had long grown weary of the 'game' and let her be instead.

As she grew up, she had only really learned that she should moderate herself when it came to making sure that there was any amount of attention payed to herself- the only reason why she didn't move to less constructive endeavors such as vandalism. She knew that there had to be something new- and ideally, one that wouldn't get her punished yet again. Her thoughts eventually turned to some of the most notable individuals of society- Wyrd witches. 

Naturally, actual magic was quite out of her reach. But there were ways to make it look like it- and why not? She got to work training her sleight of hand, and especially how to trick the senses. Between this, and her surprising vertical mobility- especially for her age, it wasn't difficult for her to 'play pretend' at being a Wyrd Witch herself.

She enjoyed the feeling of wonder she instilled with her antics- even if only other children a bit younger than herself would buy into the act to the point of believing her to be a witch.

Even as she grew older, she never quite stopped honing her sleight of hand- or her... interesting takes on what a viable footpath is. She never did truly get adopted either- Although there were efforts to train her in practical fields at time, inevitably she turned to the college of Falbreck. And truly, what else was there to do? Particularly for herself. Maybe if she were successful enough, she could pay the matron back for her efforts. It was the least she could do, truly, after all the grey hairs she put on her.

Maybe she'd one day, put on a show without the thought that soon there wouldn't be anyone left to watch.
===== Appearance =====

A somewhat small, lithe girl with at the minimum, a confident grin that could at times, be called a rather smug smirk. Her red hair and green eyes are somewhat striking in their vibrancy. Her state of dress typically includes a long sleeved light yellow-tan cloak, a shirt that if it were a bit longer, could probably have a case made for an alarmingly short sundress, and a pair of brown shorts with matching color boots.

===== Personality =====

She often presents an optimistic, and supremely confident front to her peers. Despite her somewhat small size, she does her best tot ake up as much room as she can both literally with the widest stances she can without looking excessively strange, as well as in people's thoughts as she projects her voice in such a manner as to seem rather loud despite not straining or yelling. While she does often infact feel those things, she typically fronts even harder when especially stressed or otherwise feeling down.

At heart though, truly she is just a brat that would do whatever it takes for attention.

===== Skills =====

Meave's especially notable physical skills trended towards what was effectively parkour, and sleight of hand- the both of which together were often used to amaze onlookers. Aside from this was largely the ability to present a solid front of sheer confidence, especially when she didn't feel it.
