 When I first met the people of Babel, it was through the soldiers, their iron clad *draugrs* with burning eyes and hellfire cannons. I thought their lords must be mighty to have such an army. Only later did I find that they were a merchant’s guild, if a rather big one at that. As they explained it to me, they were a “company” who grew to such a size that they could rival nations! Yet despite their might, they were fleeing from their old world and seeking a new life. Reminds me of the North Navi, in a way. Anyways, this is but a brief overview. As I gather more knowledge I shall endeavor to write it down in these pages.
