Originally when placing the Fauna, they started with [[WP>prey]] this was for the requirements of food production. However, they knew that they needed [[wp>predator]] for species control. This was because they wanted to let people hunt for sport or food, but when people aren't able to the prey might reproduce rapidly.
  
 +A lot of the species on the planet came from cloning, during the mining of the asteroids, the miners’ ANT sensors discovered traces of DNA in the rocks. These traces were sealed in capsules, and later scientists were able to acquire the DNA, and from there, the genetic samples were given to [[shards:ndc: |NDC]] geneticists who, despite discovering that the samples were nearly close to being unusable due to the environment, they were able to use what was found, in addition to random genetic samples to create a new species of animal that could be placed on the new world they were in the process of creating.
